I WON!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Well today is a special day for me because it is my birthday!!!! I have to work first thing this morning but have the rest of the day off and then headed out of town to do some shopping tomorrow!!! O and my daughter and I are getting out pictures taken when we get back into town. A girl from our church is taking our pictures, she is raising money for her Mission Trip to Cambodia. She took our pictures at Christmas time and they turned out really good, by daughter is a natural infront of the camera:) Anyways I just thought I would post a layout I did for my daughter the other day. She picked out the paper and the colour for the monkey!!

I used the Life's A Party Cartridge that I just got in the mail the other day ( It took three weeks for it to get here but it was well worth the wait). I used the images on page 46 of the handbook. I used my gypsy and cut everything out at 11" (except the frames). I decided not to use the actual background for the project ( I used the shift backround and just placed it ontop of a solid pink piece of paper) I wanted to use it as a layout for my daughters scrapbook. I used gems from the dollar store to jazz up the paws and googly eyes from the dollar store as well for the monkey. For the frames I used Just Because Cartridge and cut them out at 5" I also used my white gel pen to add some finishing touches to the frames. Have a great Day!!!!

Birthday Card For My Uncle

I was having a hard time coming up with a card for my uncle because I don't own alot of cartridges with "guy" stuff on them. My mom suggested doing the world and putting the words Greatest Uncle. I only used the cricut to cut out the circles and letters and cut the green parts of the card by hand. This was my first attempt at a stand up card (sorry I can't remember the proper term for it).

Project for Flaunt It Friday CH#16 & BLOG HOP! BIRTHDAY BASH

I don't own the Birthday Bash cartridge so I used the Create A Critter Cartridge and cut out the bunny and the present. For the box I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge. I hope you enjoy!!! CREATE A CRITTER BULLETIN BOARD

This is the first thing I made with Create A Critter Cartridge and Everyday Paper Doll Cartridge. It's a bulletin board that hangs in the toy room that my mom and I use for our home daycare!! It is sectioned off into 3 groups, farm animals, water animals and jungle animals. Each of the little people on the board represent each of the children we look after. It helps the children to learn their animals and we tell them the sounds each animal makes and quiz them on it later on in the day!! The Cricut can me used as an educational tool!!!

Towel Cake

I know this has nothing to do with scrapbooking but it is crafty!!! I made this well over a year ago for my bestfriends wedding present. It is made out of towels that I rolled up, ribbon and leaves from the dollar store. Each leaf was pinned on individually so it took quite some time to make but well worth it in the end.

I made this layout for the back of my daughters scrapbook. It outlines what her daily routine is. I used Everyday Paper Doll cartridge as well cut stuff out by hand (the cupbourds for the kitchen and table)

Card for Spring

I used the create a critter cartridge to make this card as well as a white gel pen

Clown Bag

I made this bag using Tags, bags, boxes and more and made the clown using Paper Doll Dress up. I used ribbon from Michaels and used purple brads from the dollar store

Spring Frog Card

I made this card using Create A Critter Cartridge and wrote the words using a white jelly pen. The punch is Ek from Michaels

I made this card for my daughter using Create A Critter Cartridge. I asked her what she wanted me to cut out and she said a pig

Another Birthday Card

This card was also made for a child that my mom and I look after. She is in love with Toy Story so I thought I would make her a card with Jessie on it, however I don't have the toy story Cartridge so I had to make her using Paperdoll Dress up. The Horse was done using Create A Critter, which is one of my favourite Cartridges. I cut the boot using Birthday Cakes Cartridge and the card base was done using Wild Card.

Birthday Card

I made this Birthday card for one of the kids that my mom and I look after.  He is always crawling around on the floor with a blanket in his mouth ( his mom says he is copying their dog). I used Everyday Paperdoll Cricut Cartridge for the boy and dog and Plantin SchoolBook for the lettering.
