Good Morning!! First off I would like to thank everyone for stopping by my blog all week and leaving some really sweet comments. I had way more comments then expected and want to sent a big shout out to my DT Sisters for helping spread the word about my giveaway and for those of you who posted it on your blog. I gained a few extra followers but more importantly I hope I helped Kristal with some sales of her stamps. They really are amazing and fun to work with and since I just received my new order of stamps from her I plan on doing another week of layouts using those sets. Your layouts are making me cry! You do all the things with your daughter that I used to do with mine! She is 31 years old now, so lovely and talented but she lives too far away and I miss her! She plays piano too! I started getting her lessons (I really couldn't afford them) but she loved music so much. It was totally worth it.
I have to say of all the sentiments I see on the stamps, I would love to have the one that says "Smitten" my 29 year old son is really, truly, madly, deeply in love for the first time in his life. He is a Smitten boy! lol!

Good Morning!! Today is sadly the last day of layouts for this week. I want to thank everyone who stopped by my blog this week and left such sweet comments. Hopefully I will be able to do another week long of layouts using K Andrew Design Art Stamps in a couple months. I really had fun and I hope you did too!! So for my final layout I did one from our trip to Niagara falls but this time my daughter is not in the pictures!!

This layout was different for me as I used the image stamps as background, but I think it turned out pretty good!! When you go to see the whales at Marineland they tell you where it is that you will get the wettest. We stood in the "splash" zone and thought how bad could it be? Well after the show was over it looked like we had been in the shower with our clothes on, my daughter and I were wet from head to toe!! It was fun thought!!

Good Morning!! Wow this week is going by fast, it is my second last post for this week and I can't believe it's almost the weekend!! For today's layout I am going to show you one that I made of my daughter when we were in Niagara Falls this past summer.

I used the Sizzix's die by centring the piece of card stock on it then running it through my cuttlebug, I did this 4 times to get the photo mats for the pictures. My Daughter loves to help bake cookies, muffins, cupcakes what every she just likes to help Nana and mom in the kitchen!! I decided to fill in the black spot in the left bottom corner to put a recipe card but wasn't sure what to put in the recipe card, so I googled "recipes for Love" and that is what I came up with. I thought it went perfect with the layout. This is my favourite layout from all week maybe even all time favourite!! Good Morning!! I want to kick off the New Year with a week long of layouts. It will start today and go through until Friday. I feel so blessed to start the New Year on such an amazing Design Team over at Getting Cricky With K Andrew so I thought what better way to show how much I appreciate her and all my fellow Design team ladies then to show case Kristal's amazing stamps on my layouts!! Most people would think to use sentiments on cards but you many not think to use them on layouts. I wanted to show you that it can be done and that your sentiments won't get loss on a 12x12 page. To start things off I used the stamps on a Christmas layout for my daughters scrapbook:

Good Afternoon!! Happy New Years, hope you all had a safe and happy New Year's Eve. It was very quite here, we played games as a family and I managed to make it to midnight!!! Today is another Simply Sunday challenge over at Getting Cricky With K Andrew. Today's challenge is called "It's a Celebration" celebrate a new year, a new house, a new job.... Well I decided to take the "....." route and created a project celebrating my daughter. For Christmas my mom gave me a Paper Crafts Magazine book and while flipping through it I came across these photo cubes. I decided to make one of my daughter.

I really enjoyed making these and they are so easy. I made one for each of the daycare kids. I won't show pictures of theirs as I don't have permission from the parents to put their kids picture on here but they were the same as my daughters just different colours.
