Daughter's 3rd Birthday!!!

Wow what a crazy weekend. My daughter's Birthday fell on Mother's Day this year so we had a whole weekend of celebration. Saturday we spent the afternoon at that zoo, where my daughter was climbing up the rock wall (no fear in my child). We took her trike so she could ride around on it. Sunday we went to church came home for Sierra to have a nap and then went to my uncle's house for an open house for mother's day/my grandma's birthday (which is today)!! Then we came home and set up for my daughter's family party.  Here are some pictures from the party:

Sierra with her Birthday Cake made by Myself and my Mom

Banner That I Made

Sierra' Birthday Card I made

Cake:
We used the giant cupcake pan as well as medium size cupcake pan to make the little houses. I used Wilton gum paste for the butterfly's, windows, door and flowers. The butterfly was cut using the Cricut Cake Machine using Gypsy Wandering Cartridge (sry can't remember the size), flowers were done using a cookie cutter. and the door and windows I did by hand. Grass from the dollar store

 Banner:
I used Doodlecharm Cartridge for the inner circles (hid the hole) cut at 2.7"
Tags, Bags, Boxes and more for the flowers ( hid the hole again) cut at 5.5"
Plantin Schoolbok Cartridge for the letters cut at 1.8"
Once Upon A Princess Cartridge to cut the princess out at 2.5 and the cupcake in her hand cut at 1"
I used a star shaped hole punch to make holes for the ribbon the go through. Sorry the picture is so far away I couldn't get a really good close up.

Sierra' Birthday Card:
Create a Critter Cartridge:Monkey (1.8"0
Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge: Barrel (5")
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge: Happy Birthday and 3 (1")
Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Character Face Assortment
White Gel Pen for adding to the words

If my weekend wasn't crazy enough we had a kids party yesterday (Monday) for my daughter with a few kids that my mom and I babysit. Here is a picture from that:

Sierra with here Caterpillar cake made my my mom

For this cake we used silicone cupcake liners and baked the cupcakes and iced them in different colours and then placed them on a tray in the shape of a caterpillar. We used sour gummies for the legs and hard candies for the mouth. Googly eyes came from the dollar store. I piped green icing onto the board to look like grass. There was also sugar free gummie butterflies in the "grass". I got the Happy Birthday from the dollar store, it lights up and plays the happy birthday tune.
So glad that this celebration is over until next year when my no so much a baby anymore turns 4:(
