Stampin' Sisters In Christ Challenge

Good Afternoon!! Yesterday another challenge for Stampin' Sisters in Christ was posted and I decided to join in again. The verse for the challenge is:

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."  Psalm 139: 14

Create a card/project with something Handmade on it (flower, stitching, patterned paper, ect.)

Well on Saturday my mom and I were at our local Thrift store and came across a few bags of bottle caps for .99 each. I bought 2 and my mom bought 1. I had seen a video on how to flatten them using the cuttlebug and gave it a try. It worked perfectly, so we went back and bought 10 more bags of the caps. We counted out the caps and there was over 3000 of them!! HERE is the link for the video on how to flatten them. I used them to make embellishments for my card.

What I Used:

My Creative Time: All Around Christmas
Inspired Stamps: 1 " Circle Sentiments
Bottle Caps
1" Circle Punch
Memento Ink: Tuxedo Black
Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils
Cuttlebug
Glossy Accents
EK Success Corner Rounder
Ribbon
Twine
Hot Glue Gun
Snowflakes (Dollar Store)

Ok so I have been typing and retyping for the last 30 minutes trying to explain my thinking behind my card but to be honest I am quite stumped as to how to put it into words. So instead of rambling on I ask that you visit the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog and read what they have to say about this scripture. Sorry I am usually able to think but today for some reason I am having a hard time. I really encourage you to participate in their challenges and if you don't have time to create something then please take a moment to read the scripture and the little blurb that is on their blog.

Have A Great Day!

God Bless!
