Fantabulous Cricut Recycled project

Good Morning!! As you are reading this I am at my daughters second gymnastics lesson with her and she is having a great time! We are headed to the local zoo after that so I will be back later to check on the blog. Fantabulous Cricut had a "Save The Earth Cricut Crawl" this past week (a hop and a challenge) I knew I wanted to make something for it but wasn't sure what. I started making flowers out of newspaper but they didn't tun out. It wasn't until I opened a book set that I bought for my daughter that I found what I was going to make.

This is the insert that came in the box with her books. This is what I turned it into:

What I used:
Stretch Your Imagination: Frames cut at 2"
George & basic Shapes: Hearts, 1 1/2" & 1"
My Creative Time : Anyday Bingo & Crossword
Memento Ink: Tuxedo Black
Stickles: Diamand
Hot Glue Gun

This was alot easier then I thought it would be. I measured the cardboard and then cut out a piece of cardstock the correct size. Glued that to the cardboard. I cut the pictures to fit as well. Added them to the frame and then placed the plastic over top.  I cut out the frames and glued them onto a light coloured cardstock and cut them out, then stamped the letters on them. Hot glued them on the plastic. The letters are my daughters initials: Sierra Brie-Ann Lynn (no last name). I love how it turned out and just goes to show that you can reuse anything!!

I am entering this into the Fantabulous Cricut : Challenge "Use A Recycled item"

Have Great Day!!

God Bless!
