Good Morning Again, I am really trying to catch up on my posts. This card and box were made a couple months ago for a girl that I went to school with since Kindergarden that was getting married (she just got married this past weekend). Sorry about the poor pictures, they were taken before I got my new camera
What I Used:
Life's A Party Cartridge: Card cut at 5", rings cut at 2 ", little heart cut at 3.3"
I cuttlebuged the little heart, used white gel pen along the edge of the card and used frosted lace stickles on the ring for the diamand. For the inside I used a fiskars punch and printed the saying on my computer.
For the box I used my Crafter's Companion box Maker. Paper is from Costcos and the colours matched perfectly to the card. Inside the box was a nighty and panties as it was a personal shower. I wasn't able to go to the shower because I was sick that day so my parents dropped the present off for me.

FATHER'S DAY CARDS
Good morning!! I know that Father's Day has past but I am a little behind on posting my projects!! I made these cards for the daycare kids to give their dads. The ties I cut out using Wrap It Up Cartridge cut at 5". I used buttons from the dollar store and hot glued them on. The cards were cut at 5" by 7" and then I cut in the centre a staright line and then folded over the flaps to make a collar. The kids decorated a lady bug to go inside with their pictures on them (Sry I forgot to take pictures of those) and then a magnet on the back to put on their fridge.
Have a Great Day!!

Brothers Birthday Card
Good Morning!! My brothers Birthday is on Friday (Canada Day). He will be 25 but still loves eveything Superman. Since I don't own the Superman Cartridge I made my own.
Here is What I Used:
Everyday PaperDolls Cartridge: doll cut at 5.5", "underwear" cut at 5.5"(it's actually a bathing suit that I cut up)
PaperDoll Dress Up Cartridge: cap, shoes, hair and symbol all cut at 5.5"
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge: the letter "M" cut at .5"
Peachy Keen Stamps: Everyday Character Face Assortment, white gel pen to colour in the eyes
Black ink to stamp
Pink By Design Stamps-Take the Cake: Growing old is mandatory Growing up is optional, (thought this was perfect) Look Who's 25
This summer I am taking my daughter to Marineland and we have been telling her what animals we are going to be seeing. When we asked her what she wanted to buy "Uncle Mike" for his birthday she said "A Polar Bear" I decided to cut out a polar bear so that she could give it to him as part of his present.
I used Animal Kingdom and cut it out at 4" and used googly eyes from the dollar store.
I also took my daughter shopping on Sunday to pick things out to buy for my brother. Because he is a Canada Day baby he always gets stuff with the maple leaf on it. She bought him a key chain with a polar bear on it, a braclet and a thing to put all his keys on. I made a box for her to put the stuff in.
I used red ink and inked my daughters hand and had her randonly place her hand on a piece of paper over and over again. She thought this was fun and wanted to rub her hands together to make a mess ( but mommy was a party pooper). I used my Crafters Companion box maker and my ATG gun.
Hope You all Have a Great Day
P.S Canada Post is No Longer On Strike YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!!

LINK UP LOVE PARTY WITH KANDREWS
Every Third Tuesday of the month Krystal over at Getting Cricky with KAndrews has a link up party, it is a way to get to know each other and find new blogs for inspiration. Her blog has been a huge inspiration for me, not just her projects (which are great) but also her words and encouragement. She is super sweet and has a big heart. For her link up party she asks that we visit at least 10 other blogs (the five before us and the five after us). we were also asked to share a project with you as well as what we are grateful for. My project you can see in the post below ( I entered it into Krystals Simply Sunday Challenge). It is the project to date that I am the most proud of and it also shows what I am grateful for.
Not only am I grateful for my daughter but I am grateful for God's light and his word (the Bible). God wants us to shine our light for the world to see. In doing so they will see Jesus in us., and will come to know him as their personal Lord and Saviour. So please head over to the link above and show some Love.

K Andrews -Simply Sunday Challenge-Shine On/Face it
After reading the post that Krystal over at Getting Cricky had written and seeing what the challenge was for this Sunday I decided to make a project not only with a face on it but a layout with a candle on it. If you go ovet to Krystals blog you will understand why!! Here is my project
Here is what I used:
Christmas Cartridge : Candle 6"
Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge: " This Little Of Mine" cut at .8", "Light" cut at 1", Circle cut at 4"
Storybook Cartridge: background for the word light width 4.44" and height 2.1"
Peachy Keen Stamps: PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment
Pink By Design stamps: Take the Cake ( I masked out all the words except "sunshine")
Hot Glue Gun to add the dripping wax to the candle
black ink from dollar store to ink the candle base (you can't really see it in the picture)
Orange ink from the dollar store to ink the circle behind the candle and the candle's flame
Background paper is from Costcos
The words aound the circle is a scripture that I hand wrote: " Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105"
This is the first layout were I have used just one picture as well as were I hand wrote something. My daughter is a huge light in my life and others around her. She loves to sing church songs when out in public not even aware of the impact she has on strangers who hear this little girl singing about God. I want her to grow up to be in love with God. I will put this layout in her scrapbook and when she is older I hope she will understand the meaning. Thanks for reading and looking.

Baby Shower Diaper Cake/Card
I made this daiper cake for a friend of mine who is having her first baby in July (wow 4 weeks away). They don't know what they are having but they have the nursey set up as a jungle theme. I made the diaper cake with that same theme in mind.
I used Create A Critter for all the cut outs.
Monkey 3"
Alligator 1.5"
Giraff 4"
Lion 2.3"
Elephant 2"
Zebra 2.5"
I put googly eyes on all the animals and I cuttlebuged the Alligator. Yellow ribbon from the dollar store. I used 66 diapers ( I think I can't remember). For about a month I bought stuff to put on the cake. There was two bibs ( "I love mommy", "I love daddy"), 2 spoons, 4 wash clothes, a bottle, 8 rings, frog teether, 4 stuffies and a "Baby on Board" sign.
This is the card that I made to go with the present.
Here is what I used:
New Arrival Cart.: welded two diaper shirts together cut at 5" and one extra diaper shirt cut at 4.87" width and 5" height ( I used my gypsy and clicked off the little chain so that I could change the width and height seperate from each other) I cuttlebuged the single diaper shirt and added green ribbon
hanger cut at 5"
Just Because Cards Cart.: background for the envelope cut at 6.5"
Plantin Schoolbook Cart.: "New Arrival" cut at 1", "Tammara" cut at 1.3"
I also used my I-Rock for the little gems on the bottom of the card, for the envelope I used Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabber in Sunshine Yellow and just dabbed and swirled it onto a plain white envelope.
She really liked it as the shower was at the end of May. I plan on making a mini album when she has the baby (that way I can make it boyish or girly and not neutral). She doesn't know it yet though!!
Have a great day!!

Cards For the Bradley House
Good Morning!! There is still time to make cards for the Bradley House ( for women who have gotten out of Domestic Violence). For more info follow this link Faithfule Creations. I know that I have shared in a previous post a little about my story and why this is so important to me. I decided to make 3 cards (it's been 2 1/2 years since I left. I couldn't make 2 1/2 cards so I made 3). Each card that I made is different (the only thing that I used the same was the embossing folder). I wanted to make each card unique because every women who has experience Domestic Violance has experienced it in a diffenrent way. No two stories are the same. The outside of my cards match what is on the inside. Just as our actions match what is going on in the inside of us. Proverbs 27:19 says "As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person". How we treat others is a reflection of our hearts. If our hearts our pure then our actions should also be. However if our hearts are hardend then we will treat people horribly. My prayer goes out to the Women who have experienced Domestic Violence, but it also goes out to those who have inflicted violence. They need our prayers as well, they need a change of heart (only God can do this). So please when praying, pray for the men who have inflicted violence upon these women so that the cycle will be broken and no other women will have to suffer at the hand of these men!! Also pray that the women's hearts do not become hardend and that they become better, stronger women through this process of healing. Forgiveness is a process and I am still in that process. I have realized that I don't need to forgive him to free him, but I need to forgive to free myself.
Wow I really don't know why I am sharing this, I have really struggled to pray for my ex but know that it's the only way to stop the violence. I don't want his actions to affect anyone else the way it has affected me. Anyways on to the cards:
Here is what I used:
Gypsy Wanderings:"Hope" cut at 1.6 ", background cut at 4"
Once Upon A Princess:butterflies cut at 1", I used frosted lace stickles on them
I also used my cuttlebug, purple gems and purple ink from the dollar store.
Here is what I used:
Chipboard: New Life, I saw this and knew it was pefect to use. I won the chipboard set on a blog a couple months ago.
Paper punch: flowers
Cuttle bug: Embedded Embossing Technique ( I glued the flowers on the background paper and then ran it throught the cuttle bug, it makes it look like the flowers are originally part of the paper.)
Ribbon I got from a birthday party goodie bag, I also inked the edges of the card with purple ink. No Cricut used:(
Here is what I used:
New Arrivals Cartridge: Foot prints cut at 1.5"
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge: works cut at.8"
Cuttlebug: Embedded Embossing Technique
The footprints poem has always been my favourite poem and I knew it would be perfect to send in a card for someone. Thanks for taking the time to read my long post (sorry) and please follow the link at the top and make someones day!!
Have a blessed day!!

Love 4 Stamps Homemade Clip It Up
Good morning everyone!! I was so excited last week when I was looking through the list of blogs that I follow and found a video made by Raven over at Love 4 Stamps. you are probably wondering what the picture above is, well I will tell you. It is actaully a 3 tier rotating shoe stand. Raven showed a video on how she turned it into a Clip it Up. Now she bought hers at Walmart for $20 but I couldn't find one at my local Walmart so I googled it and found out that Bed Bath and Beyond carries them. The only problem with that is there are no Bed Bath and Beyonds where I live. Lucky for me we were planning on going out of town yesterday and when I googled the nearest Bed Bath and Beyond it was on the same road as the other stores we were going to. When we got out of town I wanted to check other stores to see thier prices. I found another store (storage solutions) but they were $50. The lady at the store gave me a 20% off coupon but I tucked that into my back pocket and headed to Bed Bath and Beyond. My mom noticed on the door a sign that said they took other store coupons. I rushed into the store and found the shoe rack for 19.99 less the 20% coupon (cha ching) so I walked out of the store with the stand for less then $19. I put it together late last night so I haven't put the clips up or the baskets (with my savings I will get baskets at the dollar store). Wow I kind of sound like those Extreme Coupon people ( love the show and my mom has a stock pile, not anything like those on the show). Being a single mom I need to save as much as I can so every coupon helps. Here in Canada we don't have coupons like in the States, if we did I would need another house cuz I would probably be like the people on the show. Anyways head on over to Ravens blog (link above) to see the finish project. Thanks Raven for sharing your very cool and cheap storage solution!!

Embossing Aluminum Foil
This is what I used
Cuttle bug embossing folder(sry there are no names on them, it's the one with the bees)
Aluminum foil
Black ink from the dollar store
kleenex
White Gel Pen
Stampendous stamps Flutterfly Friends
Gems from Dollar store
Marvy Uchida Brush Marker.
I embossed the foil then inked it with black ink and rubber the extra of with the kleenex. I then stamped on a piece of paper then cut it out and placed in on the card. I really like how it looks and it is fairly easy, just don't press to hard on the foil cuz it can rip.
K Andrews Simply Sunday "Vintage Appeal"
When I fisrt saw what K Andrews Simply Sunday Challenge was I thought there was no way I was going to enter it. I have never made anything vintage before!! I then looked at what the DT made and got some inspiration. If you head over to the link above there are more details on the challange. Here is what I made:
First I started out by punching out the flowers ( I have no idea where the punch came from, there is no name on it and I have had it for a while). I then used Tim Holtz Distress ink (Frayed Burlap) on a make-up sponge to give the flowers a more vintage look. I glued two of them together. I have seen Tim Holtz on a You Tube video crumble up his paper and then take the distress ink and ink over the paper and the ink only goes on the creases. So that is what I did for the background paper. I then had lace kicking around so I took that and added the ribbon to it and then put the flowers on top of that. The only thing I used my Cricut for was the little girl holding the bird (A Child's Year cut at 3"). I used Pink By Design Take the Cake for the sentiment
"Have a Tweet Day" I used the Distress ink for that as well (same colour).
I think it turned out pretty good for my first and propably last attempt at something vintage!! Head on over to KAndrews and join in the fun!!
Have a great day!!

BIRTHDAY CARD (Mini Album)
Good Afternoon ( well at least were I live it is afternoon) I have been busy the last two days getting a card ready for a birthday that I am going to next weekend. The little girl that my mom and I look after is turning one and I have seen these type of cards (mini album) done but have never tryed one before, so this is my first attempt at it.
The two middle sections will have a picure that i took at daycare of Isabella (I just haven't gotten the picture developed yet). I used a corner punch that i will add to the pictures.
Here is what I used:
Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cart.:Actual card pieces cut at 6" each (cut 6 of them and attached them with a piece of card stock)
Once Upon A Princess Cart.:
Cupcake cut at 1.7" gems from the dollar store
Balloons cut at 2.5"
Crowns cut at 1.3 " gem from dollar store
Plantin SchoolBook Cart.:"Happy B-Day Isabella" cut at .7"
A Child's Year Cart.: Girl with cupcake cut at 1.5"
Fabulous Finds Cart.: slide to hold tag cut at 3.1"
Pink By Design Take the Cake stamp set:"Look Who's 1", "present" stamped on tag holder
I cut the tag out by hand and used fancy scissors to cut the top and a hole punch and purple ribbon. I then inked the edges of the tag with Purple ink from the dollar store.
I really liked how it turned out, once I got the actual card together, decorating it was much easier. If you have an easier way of making this I would really appreciate it if you could share it with me (cutting 6 of them and then having to line them up on a piece of long card stock was not easy)
Have a great rest of the day!!

I inked the background for the pictures and I used the cuttlebug for the girls dress
My daughter picked out all the colours and the embossing folder I used as well as the ribbon. I wanted her input because this layout is for her 3r birthday pictures. The banner is similar to the one that did for her birthday party and had hung on the fireplace. it says her name on it (sry for the bad pictures I am trying to figure out how to use my new camera)

Paper Doll Dress Up- girl cut at 3.5" (gems from the dollar store on her hair and dress)

Wrap it Up-ballons cut at 3.5"
