Good morning everyone. Well it's not a really good morning for me. Monday night my grandmother passed away suddenly and tonight is the wake. It's been a rough few days but I know that she is with our Heavenly Father. I didn't think I would get this card up before the beginning of August because I was suppose to be leaving Tuesday morning for our holidays but cancelled due to the death. I find that crafting helps take my mine of things. So for todays card I made a shaker card, I have never made one before but when I saw Erika's video over at Crafty Sprouts I knew I wanted to try one. Here it is:
Here is what I used:
B is for Boys Cricut Lite Cartridge: card base 7" welded two together, words 3.5",onsie 3" I made two of them and put a 1.5" circle in the middle of one of them.
I used the plastic from the cartridge case to cover the hole. Inside I used 4 buttons and a PK face from Everyday Character Face Assortments. I inked the onsie with green ink from the dollarstore.
This inside I stamped two stamps (from inkadinkado) and then cut them out and used pop dots to adhere them. I also used a double layer of pop dots to hold the two onsies together (Erika used mounting tape but I don't own any).
This card is for my friend who just a had a baby boy a week ago.
I am entering it into Erika's shaker card challenge. You have until August 5th to get your cards linked (just follow the link above to get to Erika's blog)
God Bless
