Cheer Up Friend!

Good Morning!! This week is almost over thank goodness!! I can't believe that 6 more days and my baby will be 4, where did the time go!?!? For my card today I had a little helper! My parents went out so I decided to have my daughter come into the craft store with me (if you read a previous post of mine you would understand me calling it a craft store). I glanced down at a craft book that was on the floor and on the front cover I found my inspiration for this card. My daughter did the base of the card (Minus the gluing) and I did the rest.

What I Used:
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps : Circus Fun
Memento Ink: Tuxedo Black
Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils
1" Circle Punch
Bakers Twine
Ribbon

My daughter loves using this circle punch. It is so easy for her as it is a squeeze punch. I just handed her the colors and she went punch crazy, so much so that we had alot of circles left over. As I was gluing the circles down she was folding the left over ones in half, which gave me the idea for the balloons. The clown stamp actually had balloons attached but I cut those ones off to add my 3D ones. I glued 4 of the half circles together to create them. Thanks Sierra!!!

I am entering this into Little Scrap Pieces: Use A Bow Challenge

as well as Sentimental Sundays : Challenge 100 "Cards For Kids"

and Craft Your Passion : Challenge 108 "Lots Of Texture"

Have A Great Day!!

God Bless!

Kristan

  2. I just love that you involve your daughter in your crafting! My daughter is now almost 32 and we still get together and do projects, I know it's because we started when she was so small. I love this card! The clown is adorable and the balloons are 2 cute!
